Workers Board hands out medical benefit
ITANAGAR, July 15: Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Constructions Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) has handed out Rs 5,000 in cash to Moniram Langneh, a casual mate worker from Poma village as a medical benefit. He is the first to get the benefit from Board.
Langneh is the first registered worker from the state to receive the first welfare benefits from the Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. He is undergoing treatment at Ramakrishna Mission Hospital since last one year. Chairman APB & OCWWB Jalley Sonam gave the money in presence of General Secretary AAPWU Changma Tajo and Secretary R.K.Mission Hospital.
Sonam has rigorously campaigned in labour concentrated areas of East Kameng, West Kameng and Tawang to get registered with the Welfare Board so as to avail benefits from the board.
