Woman commits suicide with two sons; daughter serious
Chandigarh, Aug 15 (PTI) A woman allegedly committed suicide at her residence here today by consuming a poisonous substance after feeding the same to her two minor sons who also died, police said.
The woman’s nine-year-old daughter, who too was allegedly given the substance, is in a serious condition, they said.
The family members of a cook identified as Vishnu, who was employed with a senior police officer here, was found dead at their residence at Police Colony, according to police.
The deceased have been identified as Sunita (29) and her two sons Raj (5) and Suraj (8).
Kajal, the daughter of Sunita, has been hospitalised.
Police are investigating into the matter and has registered a case in this connection.
