Woman assaulted

SHILLONG: On Monday one Robin Swer allegedly assaulted one Renola Lyngdoh Nongkynrih at Umkaliar, Demseiniong and snatched her handbag containing Rs 5000, two passbooks and other documents.
Police informed that the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.
In another incident, a car tape and Rs 300 were stolen from a local taxi (ML-05H-0805) parked at DC’s office parking lot, here on Monday.
