School teacher kidnapped

SHILLONG: An school teacher was kidnapped by unidentified miscreants in Damas, East Garo Hills, a delayed report said.
GR Sangma, 43, the teacher of an LP school located near the Meghalaya-Assam border in Garo Hills was kidnapped on July 9 at around 8:30 pm. Sources said the miscreants are demanding money for his release. An FIR has been filed with Dudhnoi Police Station in this connection.
