Medical camp held

Imphal, May 30: A medical camp was organized together by 21 Assam Rifles and 33 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) today at Arong village of Thoubal district. Medical camp was conducted by a team comprising of four Medical officers and 08 paramedical staff of 21 Assam Rifles and 33 Assam Rifles. More than 622 patients from Arong and nearby villages were diagnosed and provided medicines. A lecture on awareness of HIV/AIDS and hygiene/sanitation also conducted by the medical officers. This effort of the Assam Rifles was appreciated by the populace of the area.
