CYC calls for compensation & job
ITANAGAR, July 19: Taking serious note of the July 15 incident wherein APST conductor Tachi Nguso died under mysterious circumstances, the City Youth Congress (CYC), Naharlagun demanded punishment to police personnel and compensation & suitable job to the bereaved family.
However, it resented over the demand of resignation of the Chief Minister and home minister on moral ground. It said the incident has nothing to do with the CM and HM. The state Govt already ordered magisterial enquiry and has initiated action against the accused police personnel, it said.
“We all want the actual culprits should be punished in the court of law. By making it an issue is not the solution and our main motto is that this type of activities should not be repeated in near future and for that the steps should be taken by the administration as per law so that it will be an example for all others,” the CYC said in a release.
