Imphal July 12: Contracts of three rice transporters  procuring rice for Manipur  from Regional FCI Godown at  Dimapur has been cancelled  recently as a result of decision of Transporters’ and Drivers’ Council not to ply the Imphal- Dimapur section of NH-39.

While talking to Hueiyen Lanpao , president of the Transporters’ and Drivers’ Council, H Ranjit  said that two transporters  procuring rice from Regional FCI Godown at Dimapur to  FCI Godown, Sangaiprou, Imphal and   one procuring to FCI Godown  at Ukhrul respectively have been cancelled on July 8.
