Cong declares aspirants’ list Sonamura NP

Sonamura, Nov 18: Putting up a rough and tough contest to the ruling Left Front, Pradesh Congress announced its candidates list for Sonamura Nagar Panchayat Poll today. Opposition leader Ratan Lal Nath in a press meet at Sonamura Congress Bhawan announced the list. Listing out the workers decision, the observer said the list will intensify the wind of the change blowing across the state.
They declared aspirants are- Swapna Das (1), Parimal Das (2), Mokseda Begam (3), Swapna Sen (4), Shipra Rani Sil (5), Jhutan Roy (6), Sahida Begam (7), Tapan Aich (8), Kamala Begam (9), Dhruba Lal Chowdhury (10) and Arup Das (11). Speaking to the media people, Mr. Nath made it clear that the selection of the aspirants for this poll were prepared by him consulting with the grass root workers.
Being an observer he just discussed with the workers and gave full authority to decide the list of party candidates, he asserted.The agenda will be the corruption and misrule in this ensuing fray, Mr. Nath stated hoping that Congress will regain all the wards. Besides this, the opposition leader informed that submission of the nomination form would be taken into action tomorrow.
Meanwhile, ruling CPM stressed on the development taken place during five years period in office. It is to be mentioned here that Congress bagged 2 wards of 11 in the last poll. Among others remained present in the meet were MLA Subal Bhowmik, former MLA Billal Miah and Manik Kumar Saha.
