Chairman post to 3 MDCs

SHILLONG: KHADC Chief Executive Member (CEM) Pynshngaiñlang Syiem on Friday appointed three more MDCs – two KHNAM and one NCP – as chairmen in the Council.
Mylliem MDC Teilinia Thangkhiew (NCP) has been appointed as Chairman of Advisory Committee on Youth Affairs, Nongthymmai MDC Latitlang Kharkongor (KHNAM) as Chairman of AC Public and Health Sanitation while his fellow party MDC from Mawkhar, James Ban Basaiawmoit, has been appointed as Chairman of the Public Grievances Committee.
Thangkhiew was an EM in the earlier EC, but this time he was left out.
The KHADC allocated portfolios to the executive members of the newly-constituted Executive Committee (EC) on Thursday.
The KHADC CEM has still five more posts of chairman left to keep his flock together.
He also said a few MDCs will be accommodated as chairmen in the various boards and corporations in the State.
