Bharat Shiksha Ratan award for Dr Heli

ITANAGAR, July 20: Dr. Taba Heli Programme coordinator, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Papum-Pare (Arunachal Pradesh) has been awarded with “Bharat Shiksha Ratan award” by the Global Society for Health & Education Growth, at a glittering award ceremony held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi yesterday.

He has been chosen from the field of education growth and Rural Development chapters.

Dr. Taba Heli hailing from Yazali (Lower subansiri dist.) is the first Ph.d among Arunachal Pradesh in the animal husbandry and Veterinary science.

Prior to his assignment in KVK (ICAR), he dedicated himself towards Mithun Development activities by establishing  Mithun farms at Sagalee and Lichi in Papum Pare district (AH& Vety.Deptts.) and carried out research works.

The Bharat Shikhsa Ratan awardee Dr. Heli with his team of Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) belonging to different Agri-Allied sectors is dedicated towards livelihood improvements of the farming community.

All together 117 personalities representing various sectors of health and socio-economic development from all India were awarded. The award carries a trophy and a citation in due recognition to the individual achievements in the field of health and education growth in the country.
