3 NCP MDCs join Congress

TURA: The Indian National Congress (INC) has received a further boost in its claim to head the new executive committee in the administration ruled Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) following the formal entry of three new MDCs of the NCP into its camp.
This follows close on the heels of another three MDCs who joined the Congress over a week ago. On Monday, NCP MDCs Rongban B Marak of Raksamgre GHADC Constituency, Larthantlunga D Shira of Balachanda GHADC Constituency and Ditharson D Shira of Damas GHADC Constituency resigned en masse from the primary membership of the NCP and joined the Congress in a meeting at the Tura Congress Bhawan in the presence of DCC President Zenith M Sangma, MPCC Secy i/c Semford B Sangma and TCC Preisdent Mrs Selma D Shira and other senior leaders of the party.
